World’s largest off-grid hybrid system in the mining industry

BayWa r.e. has delivered a hybrid system that combines solar PV, battery storage and conventional generation for B2Gold’s mine in Fekola. The hybrid system will save around 13 million litres of heavy fuel oil a year and reduces C02 emissions by 39,000 tonnes a year.
