Unlocking a low-carbon business future
PPAs connect major corporations who need green electricity to renewable energy suppliers looking to secure steady long-term revenue.
How do PPAs work?
With PPAs, a renewable energy producer agrees to provide electricity to a company. Agreements cover contract length, point of delivery, time and date of deliveries, volume, and price. They also designate the specific asset which will be producing the energy.
The producer secures a long-term cash flow for their (often newly built) renewable energy plant. The buyer can then meet their sustainability goals at a pre-agreed price.
Electricity purchased through a PPA can come from:
Power plants located outside of the customer’s property (off-site PPA)
On-site, from a newly built project on the customer’s premises
Securing revenue for investors, asset owners, and developers
With PPAs, renewable energy projects can stay profitable after subsidies expire, or even without any subsidy at all. Let us market your asset and maintain a steady income, with a transparent pricing model and flexible contract terms.
Whether your asset is already established or newly built: our experienced trading team knows what to do to assure your fair revenue. At the same time, you help driving forward the energy transition and make a positive impact on our planet.
