About BayWa r.e.’s Energy Report

This is not BayWa r.e.’s first Energy Report, but it is the first survey in the series to focus on U.S. corporate energy buyers and decision-makers. Our previous Energy Report, issued in 2019, was based on a survey of corporations from six key energy markets in Europe. It measured evolving attitudes toward the adoption of renewable energy and how they varied across Europe. It was the first systematic, quantitative opinion survey of its kind that had been carried out among 1,200 decision-makers in medium-sized and large companies. It covered the UK, Germany, Italy, Spain, France and Poland and provided meaningful and comparable insights into attitudes toward the energy transition, policy issues, sustainability targets and the respondents’ plans to source renewable energy over the following five years.
