BayWa r.e. with CLENS at the E-world
The previous Managing Director Daniel Hölder and Jens Eberlein, Managing Director of BayWa r.e. Green Energy Products GmbH and Head of the energy trading business at BayWa r.e. have been responsible for the company since 10 January. "With the successful integration of the new business units and employees into the BayWa r.e. Group, we can decisively strengthen our electricity and direct marketing business. As a result, in addition to project planning and operations management, trading in PV components and comprehensive energy solutions for companies, BayWa r.e. now also offers energy trading from a single source," says Jens Eberlein. As of January 2018, BayWa r.e. has a trading portfolio of 2,2 GW in direct marketing, just under 900 GWh/a in electricity sales and 1,600 GWh/a in biomethane and green gas trading.
BayWa r.e. will also be presenting holistic energy concepts for trade and industry and for municipal utilities and energy suppliers at the E-world trade fair. "As of this year, BayWa r.e. has also been supporting municipal utilities and consumers in developing robust procurement strategies for electricity, gas and biomethane as part of our portfolio management services package," says Daniel Hölder. With its wide range of products and services and a number of worldwide locations, BayWa r.e. is able to offer customised energy concepts which have been adapted to country-specific requirements. This also includes the procurement of electricity from renewable energy plants via long-term power purchase agreements (PPAs).
In Germany, the multi-award winning PV wholesaler also supports municipal utilities and local energy providers in the distribution of PV systems and storage solutions for end customers. Together with its cooperation partners, BayWa r.e. has already won over 50 municipal utilities for long-term cooperation with its comprehensive decentralised energy solutions.
Due to the acquisition of the Clean Energy Sourcing Group, BayWa r.e. will be represented at this year's E-world with two stands: Stand 130 and Stand 531, both in Hall 2.
