BayWa r.e. expands product portfolio with heat pump from Stiebel Eltron
BayWa r.e. has expanded its product portfolio for solar thermal systems to include heat pumps for domestic hot water systems through a new distribution partnership with Stiebel Eltron.
Günter Haug, Managing Director of BayWa r.e. explains: "With the inclusion of the Stiebel Eltron heat pump in our product portfolio, the on-site consumption of solar power now offers even greater rewards. Stiebel Eltron is a well-established manufacturer and technological leader, whose products enable us to offer our customers significant added value."
The heat pump utilises the ambient temperature and the solar electricity generated on site to provide thermal energy, which is then fed into the domestic hot water system. To meet customers' varied requirements, BayWa r.e. offers the heat pump in three versions, with integrated water tanks of differing volumes.
Alf Roswag, Head of Stiebel-Eltron Sales Office Munich adds: "Our heat pumps are characterised by an excellent performance factor, high cylinder temperatures and quiet operation. We pride ourselves on the quality of our products and our exceptional service. The combination of photovoltaics and heat pumps opens up a great potential for further developing smart, efficient and environmentally responsible buildings for the future."
At its stand at the Intersolar (hall B2 / stand 190), BayWa r.e. is offering detailed information on the options for using Stiebel Eltron heat pumps for the efficient use and storage of solar power.
