BayWa r.e. exclusive system partner in the cooperative sales venture between Tchibo and Trina Solar
Today sees the relaunch of the Germany-wide sales campaign by Tchibo and Trina Solar – with BayWa r.e. as exclusive system partner. For a second time, Tchibo is offering its customers the opportunity to purchase a solar PV system as part of the cooperative venture.
BayWa r.e. is responsible for putting together the solar PV package and will manage the sales and installation of the PV systems via its network of trade partners across Germany. Trina Solar, the world's leading quality supplier, is providing the photovoltaic modules. The offer is aimed at end users and is valid until the end of May 2016.
Now, alongside coffee and various non-food products, Tchibo customers once more have the opportunity to purchase a complete solar PV system. The offer includes two sample systems with an output of 5.3 kWp and 9.54 kWp respectively. Systems are supplied complete with brand name inverter, substructure and the required accessories, and are installed on the roof. In addition to the standard packages, systems can also be sized to meet specific customer requirements and optimised for on-site consumption, with a minimum output of 3.7 kWp. Tchibo is advertising the complete solar PV systems both in its sales outlets and online.
BayWa r.e. will be coordinating with local installers, who will conclude a contract with the customer and take care of delivery and installation of the system. Günter Haug, Managing Director of BayWa r.e., comments: "We are delighted about the campaign relaunch. Everyone involved benefits: It provides us with new ways to reach end customers and help our installation partners to obtain actual orders via new sales channels – particularly in previously untapped customer groups – and, last but not least, it offers end customers an easy way to purchase a solar PV system."
