Stable prices with “BayWa Ökoenergie”
Many power supply utilities have already announced price hikes for electricity to be implemented in the near future. Contrary to current trends, BayWa r.e. will keep prices for its own eco power steady.
Early this year, most power supply utilities held back on price increases. However, a creeping rise in tariffs was noted since February. According to Focus Online, at least 32 power suppliers in Germany have raised their prices with effect from the 1st April. “BayWa Ökostrom”, on the other hand, will buck this trend.
"However, despite the ‘EEG’ levy, we will not implement any price increase any time soon. Those deciding in favour of ‘BayWa Ökostrom’ will benefit from stable prices for either 12 or 24 months. This offers our customers long term security to plan ahead, this is decisive when selecting an electricity tariff that suits", says Matthias Taft, Managing Director of BayWa r.e.
“BayWa Ökoenergie” offers transparent conditions and a customer-focused service. Various awards show how successful this concept is. For example, “BayWa Ökoenergie” was awarded a "very good" in the eco power tariff test run by the "Ökotest" magazine (issue 09/2013). With its contract terms, “BayWa Ökostrom” comes out as one of the front runners amongst a total of 30 tested tariffs. FOCUS-MONEY too awards “BayWa Ökostrom” a very good mark when compared to other power suppliers as offering the most favourable rates for eco power, topped by outstanding service and tariff conditions.
Furthermore, “BayWa Ökostrom” holds the Ok-Power quality seal awarded by the Freiburg Eco Institute and the NRW Consumer Centre. This seal guarantees that the green sources of power selected really do provide effective environmental and wildlife protection and that all is conducted with a high degree of transparency for the benefit of the consumer. “BayWa Ökostrom” is sourced exclusively from renewable sources of energy.
